Mike and Penny Smith have both had long, creative careers which have entwined in the history of New Brewery Arts (originally called Cirencester Workshops). Mike took up a studio for his basketry in 1978, while Penny was Assistant Director of Cirencester Workshops from 1980, before taking up her own studio in 1984 to develop a range of fine leather jewellery and hats, and later becoming a trustee. This exhibition celebrates their lifelong creativity, both while at New Brewery Arts and in the subsequent years.
