Top 10 Vintage Markets in Northern California

So my next few vintage market posts may be a little controversial. I’ve been asking my friends, family, and social media followers, “What is your favorite vintage market in California/Texas/Washington/etc.” I’ve received a lot of different answers but some flea markets have received more “votes” than others. You may disagree with the list of best vintage markets in Northern California that I’m sharing today. If you do, I’d love to hear from you. Leave a comment and let me know which ones I got wrong!

Also, I didn’t include regular flea markets… the markets on this list are specifically vintage, styled, and they’re all juried shows so they provide a more cohesive shopping experience. Also, I didn’t include shops or monthly occasional or pop-up shops. I may do a second list of those so let me know your favorite.

This post contains affiliate links. You won’t pay any more when you use these but I will earn a small commission on any purchases you make after clicking on them and I greatly appreciate it. Thanks for helping support my little blog!!!

Top Ten Vintage Markets in Northern California

Please check the websites for these shows to get details. I didn’t include things like directions, dates, ticket prices, parking information, etc. Those things are subject to change so the best thing is to click through to their website and/or follow them on Facebook.

10. Three Speckled Hens in Paso Robles – This one’s cutting it close to not being in Northern California. It’s the southernmost show in my list. But lots of vendors and junkers around here go to it and love it. So I included it on the list!

9. Downtown Tracy Vintage and Antique Street Fair in Tracy – This is a small one but it got a lot of votes. Probably because of where I live. I have several friends who have sold at this street fair for several years. Last year was my first time and it was one of my favorites. Hosted by the Owl Box in Tracy which is also one of my favorite vintage shops!

Tracy Street Faire is held twice a year, in May and October.

8. Humboldt Junkies in Ferndale – A 2-day market held in June. I haven’t been to this one yet but some of my vendor friends in way-up-Northern California (yeah… I just made that up) have been and loved it.

7. Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market in Richmond – This was a new one to me… they have several venues. The Bay Area market is going to be at a gorgeous location on the bay in Richmond in July.

6. Rebel Junk Market in Santa Rosa – Rebel Junk Market also have several venues in multiple states. The California market will be in Santa Rosa in October.

5. Sacramento Antiques Fair in Sacramento – This is a huge market with 300+ vendors that happens once a month on the second Sunday.

4. Mes Amis/Revelry in Roseville – Mes Amis has been one of my favorite shows the past few years and is going through some huge changes this year. They’re rebranding so 2018 shows have been cancelled. I can’t wait to see what the show is like when they reopen next year!

3. Goat Hill Fair at the Santa Cruz Fairgrounds in Watsonville – Can you believe… I still haven’t made it to this sale. They haven’t been accepting jewelry vendors so I haven’t been able to get in as a vendor yet. But most of my local junkin’ friends have been and LOVE it.

OK, I know I’ve got two more to go but these top two should both be #1 for different reasons. Let me explain why…

Drum roll please…………

Number 2. Alameda Point Antiques Fair – This is the granddaddy of all antique fairs in Northern California! You won’t find anything bigger. On the first Sunday of every month over 800 vendor set up on Alameda point for an amazing day in an amazing location. You’ll find just about everything here. But you won’t be able to SEE everything ’cause there’s so much to see!

Every first Sunday of the month at the Alameda Point Antique Fair: 2900 Navy Way, Alameda, CA 94501

Number 1: Roses and Rust Vintage Market in Anderson – This is by far my favorite. It’s a big show, but nothing like Alameda. Roses is held in and around 3 barns at the Shasta County Fairgrounds in Anderson. Where Alameda is all outside, Roses can still be enjoyed in the middle of a thunderstorm (been there!).

Another thing I love about Roses and Rust Vintage Market is the vintage trailer rally in the spring! They’re the whole reason I started my Happy Camper line of jewelry!

You can see more of our set up at Roses and Rust HERE.

What Did I Leave Off?

There are a lot more vintage flea markets in California. My goal is to hit them all but until I make it, please leave a comment and let me know about the ones in your area.
