John Lewis Finance was a major provider of wedding insurance for many years. However, they stopped selling new wedding insurance policies to customers in March 2020.
While any remaining exising policyholders are unaffected, it has not been possible to buy a new John Lewis wedding insurance policy for some time now. In August 2020 underwriter RSA announced they planned to exit the wedding insurance market altogether in 2021. This means unless John Lewis finds a new partner to provide the policies, they may completely withdraw too.
