1. Is it a one-off payment or a monthly gift?
Paddington’s Postcards is a monthly donation to UNICEF Canada. For a minimum of $20 donation per month, your child of choice will receive a mail package that includes an activity book, stickers, fact cards and more. The adventure package will teach your child about the world while also providing a donation to support UNICEF’s work for children around the world. You are able to cancel your donation at any time.
2. What is UNICEF doing with my monthly donation?
UNICEF works in 190 countries and territories. Your monthly donation will help children around the world by providing them with access to safe water and sanitation, education, healthcare, emergency and survival services as well as other programs that protect and defend the rights of children.

3. What is included in each package?
The Welcome Kit is the first package that your child recipient will receive. It includes materials such as a welcome letter, postcards from Paddington a world map and travel journal. You can let your child recipient know to save these pieces to use with the future monthly packages.

The monthly packages include postcards from Paddington from different countries he has visited. There are activities, stickers, fun fact sheets, children’s stories and so much more!
4. How long will it take to receive a package?
Please allow for up to one month lead time for us to produce, package and ship your monthly packages. In the event that your child’s mail package does not arrive, please contact us by emailing our helpful Supporter Experience team at info@unicef.ca or calling 1-800-567-4483.
5. How do I sign up for someone’s child as a gift?
If you would like to sign up on behalf of a child for whom you are not the parent or legal guardian – you will be asked to confirm that you have received permission to do so when you are entering your information into the donation form.
6. How long is the subscription of mail packages for?

When you sign up to Paddington’s Postcards, you’ll set up monthly donations to UNICEF and receive monthly packs for 12 months. After this time, your monthly gift will continue — we hope you’ll be able to keep supporting our work for every child. Please note if your monthly donation is cancelled during this time, your monthly packages will also be cancelled.
7. What happens when the 12 months are completed?
After this time, your monthly gift will continue — we hope you’ll be able to keep supporting our work to help protect and defend children around the world.
8. Can I sign up for multiple subscriptions?
In order to sign up multiple children who live at different households, you will need to set up separate monthly gifts for each child. If you would like multiple children at the same address to receive a package, please include all children’s names in the first name field.
