2. First Monday Trade Days – Canton, Texas
Small town Canton’s claim to fame is the famous flea market First Monday Trade Days. The population may be fewer than 5,000 people but every month it grows in size as thousands of shoppers visit one of the largest flea markets in the US. First Monday Trade Days began as a swap event for livestock and farm equipment over 100 years ago. The name is a misnomer as the event is Thursday through Sunday before the first Monday of each month. On those days, a series of buildings, shopping areas, and pavilions bustle with 6,000 merchants.

2. Brimfield- Brimfield, Massachusetts
Brimfield is the oldest outdoor antiques flea market in the country. It began in 1959 in auctioneer Gordon Reid’s backyard but today attracts more than 1 million visitors every year as one of the largest flea markets in the US. 6. Springfield Antique Show & Flea Market Extravaganza – Springfield, Ohio
Running for over 40 years, the Springfield Antique Show and Flea Market Extravaganza is a unique Midwest event for any antique and vintage lover. The flea market is held at Ohio’s Clark County Fairgrounds nine times a year. There are also extra market days called Extravaganzas on Friday-Sunday. 7. Wagon Wheel Flea Market & Mustang Flea Market – Saint Petersburg, Florida (permanently closed)
Pinellas County features two flea markets in one location between Saint Petersburg and Clearwater, making it one of the largest flea markets in the US and Florida. The Wagon Wheel is weekend-only and offers almost 2,000 stalls with many located indoors. Mile High Flea Market is a longstanding tradition of Colorado’s flea market scene and regularly features around 2,000 merchants on its grounds. Texas is known for its big offerings and that includes its flea markets. One of the largest flea markets in the US occurs in several communities in the heart of rural Texas twice a year. The size of the weekly Rogers Flea Market has only increased since the market’s inception in 1955. It’s not uncommon to see 50,000 visitors on just the Friday session. Due to its location near Cleveland and Pittsburgh, the event features a range of merchants from around the Midwest and is one of the largest flea markets in the US. Over 1,600 vendors are located in indoor and outdoor spots and there’s no admission fee. The flea market is held on Fridays and Saturdays year-round. A monthly consignment auction is held on the second Tuesday of every month.
