Find out the answer to that nagging question, “I wonder if this is worth anything?” Establish the value of family heirlooms, antiques or collectibles – any items of possible value that might be “forgotten” or tucked away in a back closet, by attending The WWC Antiques, Collectibles & Treasures Appraisal Fair Fundraiser, on October 29th, noon to 4 P.M., located at The Westport Woman’s Club, 44 Imperial Avenue.
The fair presents noted appraisers from Clarke Auction Gallery, Pandora’s Box Estate Sales and MTE Antiques who can examine your items and tell you if you’re sitting on a gold mine or saving sentimental keepsakes.

Specialists will use their knowledge to provide verbal appraisals of estimated values for general antiques and collectibles (no furniture please). Your items will be appraised by one of eight qualified appraisers for an appraisal fee of $5.00 per item: Jack McAuliffe (Art), Nelia Moore (Art), Ronan Clarke (Generalist), Bruce Anderson (Generalist), Joann Moroney (Jewelry), Deborah Fratino (Antique & Collectible Dolls and Jewelry), Mary Eletheriou (Asian) and Terry Eletheriou (Asian).

Deborah Fratino is an Antique Doll Appraiser/Dealer since 1985, member of The National Antique Doll Dealers Association, an organization with members in the USA, Canada, Europe and the UK and the New England Appraisers Association. Participates in shows throughout the United States, has displayed in Germany and the UK. Deborah has chaired NADDA shows and exhibitions at the Stamford Museum in Stamford, CT, and serves as a professional consultant in CT and Westchester County. Please see: www.NADDA.ORG. Deborah Fratino is a jewelry appraiser and has appraised and sold jewelry since 1990. She has exhibited in many shows such as the Pier in NY, Gaithersburg, MD, Brimfield and the CA Expo.
Joanne Moroney will co-appraise with Deborah at the WWC. She has been a jewelry dealer and appraiser for many years her credentials are recognized throughout Westchester County.
Jack McAuliffe, art appraiser: 32 years appraising and collecting art throughout NY and CT. He is a professional consultant and has served as a Sotheby’s.com associate.
Terry Eletheriou’s career in antiques began over 35 years ago when he became an avid collector of Japanese Art. In order to study the art properly, he attended classes in Japanese at The Japan Society. His interest in antiques eventually expanded to other fields, including Chinese and European porcelains and Art. He and his wife, Mary, exhibit in major antique shows including The Baltimore Summer Show, The New York Pier Show and The Miami Beach Antique Show.

Nelia Moore – Graduated Magna Cum Lauda from George Washington University 2007 in Fine Arts and Art History. Two years as an art appraiser for a non profit program. Consultant for an art firm in Manhattan and Greenwich Historical Society. Currently working for Clarke Auction Gallery as their Art appraiser.
Bruce Anderson – Thirty year veteran working in the antique industry, with an extensive knowledge of antiques in many categories. Born into the business, a member of th New England Appraisers Association. Has appraised for several years at many events and functions. Currently working at Clarke Auction Gallery as a General Appraiser.
Ronan Clarke is the owner of Clarke Auction Gallery which was started in Westchester NY in 1998. Ronan started his career in Ireland and came to New York in 1988. Ronan owns 2 retail Antique Stores and All Boro Estate Liquidators (As featured in NY Times, NewYorker, Cranes and Fox 5 News).
As with all of the Westport Woman’s Club’s fundraisers, the profits from this event will help support our community services projects, including Scholarship and Community Services Grants, Food Gift Certificates, the Food Closet, and Holiday Meals Programs.
