Here, we have produced a survival guide to help you get the most out of your visit, come rain or shine. To find out how to get there, where the toilets are, and what’s on during the event, which is one of the biggest in the county’s social calendar.

With an eclectic mix of breath-taking entertainments, local food and drinks, shopping, live music, horticulture and farm life, it’s the perfect day out for all the family.
At one of the country’s top county shows, you’ll be spoilt for choice with a huge selection of entertainment to see, exhibitors to meet and places to enjoy a bite to eat.
In the Main Ring, watch elegant showjumping, hear performances from concert bands and marvel at breath-taking displays from Broke FMX – plus much more.
Food, food glorious food at the Lincolnshire Show
Enjoy the action in style with a glass of Pimms on the members’ lawn or at the gin and fizz bar aside the Main Ring.
Explore the food court to pick up your favourite local treats, and sit down to learn from top local chefs in The Lincolnshire Kitchen. Head to the horticultural zone to see beautiful blooms, or to the aviation zone for a slice of Lincolnshire’s sky-high history.
Visit the agricultural lines to see machinery from past and present, and there’s plenty of activities for younger visitors to try in the sports zone. Help to judge the showstoppers competition in the discovery zone, and round off your day with a shopping spree from the selection of more than 600 exhibitors.

As in previous years the A15 from the A46 Lincoln bypass to the A631 at Caenby Corner is closed to all but show traffic. In order to arrive at the show with minimal delays please follow the directional signs and instructions that are given by traffic marshalls – they are aware of where delays currently are and which car parks have the most space.
Plan to approach to the Showground the way you wish to depart. Routes to the show will be signposted. Please follow directions and comply with signs and instructions.
Traffic from the M180, Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire can approach the Showground by using either the A15 or the B1398 and will enter via Gates 2 or 5.
Traffic from the North East Lincolnshire, Market Rasen and Louth areas should join the A15 at Caenby Corner and will enter the Showground via Gates 2 or 5.
Traffic from the North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and Gainsborough should use A156 joining the A1500 (Tillbridge Lane) and enter via Gates 5 or 6.
Traffic from the Skegness, Horncastle and the east should proceed along the A158 (Wragby Road) and follow directional signs and, dependent on traffic conditions at the time, will be directed to the Showground via the A15 and Gate 1, or through the city of Lincoln and approach via the B1398 to Gate 6.
Traffic from the south, west and Nottinghamshire should follow the A46 and then the A15 to the Showground.
Traffic approaching from the city of Lincoln or the south via Sleaford should follow signs to the B1398, Burton Road and enter through Gate 6.
All coaches will be directed to Gate 6 on the B1398 (Middle Street/Burton Road).

All car parks will be colour coded (Black, Green, Brown and White) see map for designated areas.
Members’ car park: access via Gate 6 on the B1398 Middle Street (Burton Road) throughout the entire day, or via Gate 1 (off the A15) on the morning of Show days,
Disabled badge holders: there will be designated areas available in all car parks. Disabled badge holders will be directed to these areas. Pre-booked mobility scooters are located in the Brown and White car parks.
Drop off and Pick-up points: service coaches, buses and taxis should use Gate 6 on the B1398 Middle Street (Burton Road). This entrance is also to be used for private cars intending to drop off and pick up visitors to the Show. This is the only point that should be used for drop-offs and pick-ups.
Stagecoach Lincolnshire is running a shuttle service between Lincoln City Bus Station and the Lincolnshire Showground especially for the Lincolnshire Show.
The first bus will leave Lincoln City Bus Station at 8.30am, and then buses will run approximately every fifteen minutes in both directions throughout the day. The last bus from the Showground is 6.30pm.
The buses will travel via St Marks St, Brayford Way, Yarborough Road and Burton Road out of the city, returning via the reverse route, and passengers can board at any bus stop along the way by clearly signalling the driver.

Lincolnshire Concessionary Fare Scheme senior citizen and disabled people’s bus passes are not valid on this service. Unfortunately, the scheme operator, Lincolnshire County Council, excludes the route because it is classed as a tourist service.

Dangerous slang terms every parent needs to know
At the entry gate pick up a copy of the Show Guide which includes an illustrated map, ring timetables and everything you need to plan your day. Catalogues with full exhibitor listings will also be available from the livestock and equine lines.
If you would like to become a member of Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, you can upgrade your ticket on the day at the show office in the Epic Centre. Adult membership starts at £61 and includes entry for both days, indoor exclusive facilities, entertainment on the Wednesday evening of the Show and so much more.
New plans for Lincoln Science and Innovation Park could create up to 800 jobs
There are numerous toilet blocks around the showground as marked on the map, which also have disabled facilities.

There are cash machines on the showground and cashback available at the gates and in the member’s area in the Epic Centre.
Dogs are welcome, but they have to be on a secure lead. If you would like to visit the livestock lines, flower show, food court or members’ dining area you may leave your dog at the dog creche behind the food court.
If you touch an animal, please wash your hands immediately with water and soap provided in various locations around the showground.

Main ring
Pitch up a seat ring-side, enjoy a picnic style lunch and relax with the whole family to a nonstop line up of entertainment all day long. Expect beautiful displays of show jumping and scurry driving, lively music and breath-taking stunts galore.
Countryside ring
Surrounded by falconry, the shooting range, an array of rural craft stands and beautiful wild flowers, the Countryside Ring has a busy programme of dog agility, safety re-enactments, sports and animal displays.
Shopping
Splurge in the Mews, our boutique style shopping area, or browse the 600 trade stands spanning the Showground offering everything from clothes, jewellery and shoes to cars, lawnmowers and hot tubs.
Food
The sweet smells of local delicacies and live cookery demonstrations from top local chefs and producers in The Lincolnshire Kitchen make the Lincolnshire Show the perfect trip out for foodies.
Lincolnshire producers will showcase the very best of their wares, with national and international specialities on offer. Make an early stop off for a bacon, sausage and egg sandwich from one of the many food outlets, before exploring the rest of the Show, or take a break at lunchtime and indulge in the vast array of street food and pick up ingredients for your dinner from meat and cheeses, to jams, chutneys and local ales.

The floral art and flower shows
The floral art and flower show are always very popular and with everything from roses to bonsai trees you’ll be sure to find something to take your fancy. What’s more, the stand holders will be on hand with years of horticultural knowledge to help advise you how best to care for your new plants.

Man and Machine in Motion
This new, narrated display demonstrates how farmers use machinery to produce forage in the modern day. From the pedestrian mower to the forage harvester, local machinery dealers will show you how it’s done!

Dress to impress for the chance to win some very glamorous prizes, as well as an invitation to an exclusive champagne reception on the Wednesday afternoon of the Show.
Baby facilities
The Show is a family-friendly event, and will assist families with babies or young children whenever possible. The Showground has a lot of hard standing and tarmac roads to facilitate pushchair access. Each toilet block, the facilities within the Epic Centre, exhibition hall and additional disabled facilities on-site for the Show all have baby changing facilities. The Rotary Club (8-46) and Home Start Lincolnshire (7-10) also offer breastfeeding areas.
Lost children/vulnerable people
If you’ve lost your child or a vulnerable member of your group, or you are a lost child or vulnerable person, inform a steward (who wear bowler hats), a member of the Lincolnshire Showground team (for example at the Show desk in the Epic Centre) or a member of the security team straight away.

Party passes can be booked in advance for a minimum of 15 people and the cost for pre-booked adult is £17, young person £12 and children £6.
