(please note, times can vary)

Stallholder parking is available on the Wednesday before the market from 9am. You will be able to sleep in your caravan or vehicle in the queue overnight should you wish.

The gates to the showground open at the following times on Thursday morning (to stallholders ONLY):

  • 5:30am Buildings & Shopping Arcades
  • 6:30am Marquees
  • 7:00am Numbered Outside pitches
  • 7:30am Allocation on Arrival pitches
  1. Two people admitted per pitch. One extra Exhibitors Pass per pitch may be purchased in advance of the fair at £23 when booking from the office, or £25 at the gate. (IACF reserve the right to refuse entry).
  2. One vehicle (including caravan or trailer if applicable) admitted per pitch.

Building Opening Times

Gates to the showground are open from 5:30am on Thursday (to stallholders only). Inside stallholders are welcome to arrive at this time or after and park alongside their building but please note that the buildings are unlocked from the new time of 7:00am for unloading (except the Sir John Eastwood Building which is open from 5:30am).

Those booked on for Shopping Arcades and Marquees, please come in at 4pm on the Wednesday.

Vehicle Passes

When you buy a pitch you will be issued with one Vehicle Pass which will be posted 10-14 days prior to the market. If you prefer to collect your Vehicle Pass at the market make sure you mention this at the time of booking.

Subject to availability, it is possible to purchase a pitch on the day of the market (referred to as a Casual Pitch). We only accept cash payments on the day and the price of a Casual Pitch is at least £10 more than the pre-booked price.

Outside Pitches

Outside Pitches are approximately 4m wide x 8m deep and you must ensure you book enough pitches to accommodate your vehicle and stock. Most are allocated pitches and the number is painted in white on the ground. Make sure you set up on the correct pitch and consult a steward if you are unsure.

It is very disruptive to you and other exhibitors if we have to ask you to move your stock because you have set-up on the wrong pitch. Pitches in the Allocation on arrival area are not allocated but are marked out. DO NOT take up more than your entitled space, You will be asked to move your stock.

For any more information please telephone our office on +44(0)1636 702326. (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm). Please note, it is not possible to make a booking online.

The booking office closes at 3pm on the Wednesday before the market. If you haven’t made a booking by this time you can still attend the market and can pay cash for a pitch on the day, subject to availability.
